This is a description.
Individuals can forge positive, therapeutic responses to life challenges. The three core connections that allow clients to do this are Positive intention and goals, Somatic Centering and Field Resources. In a repetitive problem, all three of these connections are usually absent. We will see how clients can be helped to develop and sustain positive connections while engaging with challenging material. Participants will be offered multiple techniques and examples, as well as several demonstrations to demonstrate the positive orientation to psychotherapy.
The educational objectives are listed.
Show three methods for developing therapeutic change.
Describe three techniques for connecting a client to a positive, skill-based state of being.
Identify 3 ways to translate a negative goal to a positive goal.
Session may be edited to preserve confidentiality.
